We have had many presidents since George Washington. All were white, none were black. I have noticed that when Abrahanm Lincoln let the African Americans out of slavery not everyone was happy, mostly everyone was angry. As a young girl I dont know why that was, maybe because they were a different color of skin, but if they thought about it long enough they would have thought that God made us all for a reason. God made us all uniq so we could all love each and everyone of each other, not to be mistreated or forced to work hard but, to see that everyone is not as different as you think.
In 2008 we started to elect a new president of the U.S.A. It was between, Hilary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John Macane. Hilary was the first one out and between Obama and Macane the scale was up and down. At the end Obama won the election. Now he is encouaging kids like me white or black or hispanic to fallow our dreams. When we had white presidents they encuraged kids to fallow ourdreams but some just gave up because they were a different color and of what they have heard or what people have done. Now that people have made a change in life to have a new president African American kids - all kids - are beliving in what they can become in life. They can ignor what people say or what they do becuase we have decided to make a change in life.
